ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m a senior at Mount Holyoke College living in Brattleboro, VT with my loving partner and our pur-baby Honey. I’m passionate about fashion, travel, literature, and astrology. My grandmother taught me to sew at age eight, and I’ve been customizing my clothes to some extent ever since.

 

Like most women, I have a love-hate relationship with the fashion industry. On one hand, I love studying the history of fashion, analyzing the costuming of movies and TV series, and keeping up with bold new designers. On the other, I’ve always hated how wasteful the fashion industry is and the pressure it places on people (especially young women) to look one particular way. DIY fashion really helped me find my own individual style and start to enjoy fashion again.
